Red Paintings Progress

I've been to the studio three times this week, and you can see where this is going. The reds are getting really thick and the canvas is really developing some nice texture. I was over at my friend MC's house this week too, and I got to see an old painting of mine that I gave her as a birthday present. Looking at it helped me see some things and helped me make up my mind about what I was doing and where I was going with these two.
I feel like I want to keep working on the color, I'm not completely happy with the reds I'm getting and want to experiment a bit with that. It's only going to help out at this stage and the paint gets thicker and the surface builds up. I think I'm maybe two weeks away now.
I'm starting four new ones this weekend, so there will be some overlap. I need to think about what I'm going to do with them.
